I’m thrilled to announce the launch of the Mostly Meera Podcast! 🎉 This podcast has been a project close to my heart for quite some time, and after a lot of hard work, planning, and perseverance, it’s finally here.

For those who have been following my journey, you know how important it is for me to connect with you all, not just through my Instagram or YouTube, but through more meaningful conversations. The podcast gives me the chance to open up on a new level, to dive into topics that are important to me and, hopefully, to you as well.

The Journey to Launch

This podcast has been in the works for months—countless hours of planning, figuring out the technical details, and, of course, reflecting on what I want to share. It’s not been easy. Balancing life, work, and the podcast preparation has been a challenge, but it’s something I’ve poured my heart into. I’ve always believed in creating authentic content, and this podcast is a way to show up as myself in a deeper way.

I’ve learned so much along the way, especially about the technical side of podcasting, which was completely new to me. I’ve had moments of doubt, times when I wasn’t sure if it would all come together, but here we are, and I’m so proud to share this with you.

The First Episode: The Journey So Far

In the first episode, titled The Journey So Far – Balancing Motherhood, Identity & Mental Health, I’ll be opening up about my experiences as a mother, a British South Asian woman, and the ongoing journey of mental health.

Motherhood has been one of the most beautiful, yet challenging experiences of my life. From sleepless nights to the indescribable joy of watching my son Shivaay grow, it’s a whirlwind that I want to share honestly. There are the highs, but there are also the struggles that not enough people talk about. In this episode, I talk about my personal experience with motherhood and how I’ve been learning to balance it all.

Another key topic we’ll explore is cultural identity. Being a South Asian woman raised in the UK has shaped so much of who I am, and now, as a mother, I think about how I can pass my heritage onto my son while also helping him navigate the modern world. I reflect on growing up in a Gujarati household, and how I’ve managed to embrace both my heritage and the realities of life in the UK.

And, of course, we’ll touch on mental health. It’s a topic that’s deeply personal to me and one I’ve become passionate about discussing, especially within the South Asian community, where mental health often carries a stigma. I’ve learned how important it is to prioritise self-care, to break the silence, and to seek help when needed. In this episode, I talk about my own mental health journey and the ways I’m learning to juggle motherhood, work, and everything in between.

Why This Podcast Means So Much to Me

This podcast isn’t just another project for me—it’s something that truly reflects who I am and what I stand for. I’ve always believed in being as real and transparent as possible, and the Mostly Meera Podcast is an extension of that. It’s a space where I want to talk about the things that really matter: motherhood, cultural identity, mental health, and self-care.

I’ve worked so hard to get to this point, and I can’t wait for you all to join me on this journey. This podcast represents a new chapter for Mostly Meera, and I’m so excited to see where it goes.
